Un avion militar al SUA, cu destinația Antarctica, a făcut cale întoarsă. „Piloții au fost avertizați despre pericol”

A US military flight to Antarctica returned to New Zealand due to a warning about potential dangerous space activity. The flight was alerted by New Zealand's Civil Aviation Authority after being informed by Russian air traffic control about a planned rocket launch. This warning led to the issuance of a NOTAM, advising pilots of the associated risks in the airspace. The C-17 Globemaster III took off from Christchurch but turned back after approximately 150 minutes. This flight was part of the annual Winter Fly-in period, which facilitates transport to Antarctic research bases.
