Un avion dispărut în urmă cu 74 de ani a fost găsit. Doi supraviețuitori sunt în viață și azi
The wreck of the Pan American World Airways aircraft, 'Clipper Endeavor', missing for 74 years, has been found in the Atlantic Ocean. The discovery was made in June 2026 using modern underwater mapping technology, confirming the aircraft's identity through visible markings. The plane crashed on April 11, 1952, shortly after takeoff from San Juan, Puerto Rico, due to simultaneous engine failures. Although many passengers initially survived the crash, the aircraft sank rapidly, complicating evacuation efforts. Only 17 survivors were rescued during the initial recovery operation. The wreck was identified using advanced scanning equipment, revealing much of the aircraft's structure remains intact after decades underwater.
