An American, Tommy Cherry, set a new world record for solving a Rubik's Cube blindfolded in 11.56 seconds, including memorization time. The current fastest time for a standard Rubik's Cube is 2.76 seconds, held by Teodor Zajder from Poland. Yiheng Wang from China has the best average time of 3.51 seconds based on five attempts.
