Un al doilea bebeluș care aștepta eliberarea unui loc la secția ATI de la "Marie Curie" a murit

A second newborn has died while waiting for a spot in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at "Marie Curie" Hospital in Bucharest. The infant, diagnosed with a serious heart defect, could not be transferred from Bacău for necessary treatment. This follows the death of another newborn from Constanța who also died while on the waiting list due to a lack of available beds. The unit's capacity was reduced from 27 to 22 beds after eight nurses left, and while 22 nursing positions have been approved, filling them may take months. The government has recently approved hiring to address the crisis at the hospital.
