Un aeroport din Belgia folosit de mulți români se închide pentru aproape 3 luni pentru modernizare

Brussels South Charleroi Airport will halt all flights from August 15 to October 31, 2028, for extensive infrastructure upgrades. The main runway, nearing the end of its 25-year lifespan, will be completely refurbished alongside other modernization efforts. This temporary suspension aims to minimize overall disruption by conducting multiple projects simultaneously. The renovation is expected to cost around 50 million euros and could impact over two million travelers, raising concerns among unions about potential passenger loss and job security. Charleroi Airport primarily serves Ryanair, Wizz Air, and Pegasus Airlines.
