The Umbrărescu family won the auction for the Romag Termo power plant in Halânga for 30 million euros. The auction was organized by Euro Insol, the judicial liquidator of RAAN, with a starting price of 30 million euros. The sale included over 76 hectares of land, buildings, and industrial equipment. The plant, located near Drobeta-Turnu Severin, has faced financial difficulties since its closure in 2015. RAAN entered insolvency in 2013 and bankruptcy in 2016, with the main creditor being the Environmental Fund Administration.
