The construction of Lot 1 of the A0 Nord highway is progressing rapidly, but its full opening is weather-dependent. The connection to A1 may not be completed until 2027. Currently, the project is 82% complete, with hopes to ensure access to national roads by the end of 2026. However, the A1 connection is expected to be finalized by April 2027. The construction team consists of around 780 workers and over 370 machines, focusing on various tasks including asphalting and installation of safety features. The director of CNAIR emphasized the importance of realistic timelines, stating that sections will only open when fully ready and safe.
