The Danube's water levels are currently stable, with an expected increase starting August 13, according to the National Administration of Waters. At Cernavodă, where Reactor 1 of the nuclear power plant has been offline since July 28 due to low water levels, authorities report a gain of at least four days. The river's level has dropped by 2 cm, currently at -218 cm, but projections indicate it will reach -230 cm by August 13. A historic low of 1,400 mc/s was recorded at the river's entry into the country, expected to remain stable until mid-August before rising to 1,450 mc/s.
