The Pârâul Cârțișoara river once powered 18 water mills, but now only one remains operational, facing challenges due to drought and bureaucratic hurdles. Laurențiu Dorodici, who restored the mill, recalls his childhood experiences there. The mill's operation is closely tied to the river's condition, with plans to use the flour for traditional bread or animal feed. Dorodici emphasizes the importance of clean rivers for sustaining life in the region.
