The last concrete beam for the Bucharest Ring Road has been installed, marking a significant milestone in the project. Approximately 5,000 beams were required for the 102 km of the highway. The final beam was placed on the central opening of a bridge over DN7. In total, 2,509 beams were installed on the southern section, with a similar number expected on the northern section. The project faced skepticism in 2020, but progress has been made, and the completion of the ring road is now imminent.
