Referee Gheorghe Moldovan, aged 30, took his own life amid marital issues and a divorce process. He posted a video on Facebook explaining his decision and left a farewell message. Tragically, he shot himself in his wife's home, where she discovered him. Moldovan expressed his last wishes, asking his wife to care for their three daughters and to be buried in their yard in Step-Soci, so his children would remember him. He also addressed friends and family in his video, sharing his love and regrets.
