UE vrea să deblocheze al 21-lea pachet de sancțiuni împotriva Rusiei
EU ambassadors are meeting to negotiate the 21st sanctions package against Russia, focusing on the banking sector and energy exports. Greece's request to modify LNG transport provisions is a key sticking point. The new measures aim to increase pressure on the Russian economy, particularly its financial system, which is already facing vulnerabilities. The package includes sanctions on 215 individuals and entities, with a significant number being financial institutions. Additionally, the EU proposes extending the price cap on Russian oil, currently set at $44.10 per barrel, to prevent increased revenues for Russia.
