UE și Ucraina accelerează împrumutul de 45 de miliarde de euro pentru Kiev, prevăzut pentru 2027
The EU and Ukraine have agreed to expedite the disbursement of 45 billion euros planned for 2027, addressing Ukraine's significant defense funding deficit. This decision comes amid increased Russian attacks, with Ukraine facing a 27 billion dollar defense funding gap this year. President Zelensky welcomed the agreement, emphasizing the importance of timely financial support for Ukraine's defense needs. The funds will be released once Ukraine meets specific reform conditions, and discussions will continue to identify additional budgetary and defense needs. The overall 90 billion euro loan program aims to support Ukraine through 2026 and 2027, with a focus on defense and anti-corruption measures.
