UE selectează 46 de proiecte pentru materii prime critice. România, printre beneficiare

The European Commission has selected 46 projects from 16 member states, including Romania, to reduce dependence on imports of critical raw materials for battery production and military equipment. These projects will benefit from faster authorization procedures and support for funding access. The selected projects cover various stages of critical raw material production, including extraction, processing, and recycling. The EU aims to increase its own resource exploitation and processing capacities, with a target of extracting at least 10% of strategic raw materials within the EU by 2030. The initiative has mobilized over two billion euros in financial support and aims to accelerate investments to reduce economic dependence on imports.
