UE permite Ucrainei să cumpere rachete Patriot din împrumutul european

The EU has approved Ukraine's purchase of Patriot missile interceptors using €3.2 billion from a financial assistance program. This program provides Ukraine with €90 billion, including €60 billion for military purchases and €30 billion for budget deficits. Ukraine will repay the loan only if Russia pays war reparations. A waiver was granted to allow Ukraine to buy Patriot interceptors, as the European equivalent, SAMP/T, is less available. Ukrainian President Zelensky has urged allies for more Patriot missiles, but stock shortages exist due to U.S. conflicts. The funds could allow Ukraine to acquire around 1,000 interceptors, with most deliveries expected in the coming years.
