UE lansează programul AGILE pentru start-up-uri din domeniul apărării

The European Parliament has approved the AGILE program, a new initiative with a budget of €115 million aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing emerging defense technologies. This program is a response to the changing security landscape due to Russia's aggression against Ukraine, emphasizing the need for rapid and cost-effective defense innovation. AGILE will provide quick grants and facilitate connections between SMEs and major defense contractors, aiming to bridge the gap between prototype development and operational capability. It focuses on innovative solutions, including adapting civilian technologies for defense applications, to enhance military effectiveness and reduce strategic dependencies.
