UE își schimbă regulile înaintea noilor aderări. Ce pregătește pentru Ucraina și Moldova

The European Commission has introduced a new package of measures to prepare the EU for future expansions, proposing changes in decision-making processes, budget adjustments, and stricter post-accession guarantees. President Ursula von der Leyen emphasized the importance of these reforms for a stronger and more resilient Union. Key proposals include shifting from unanimity to qualified majority voting in critical areas, expediting negotiation processes for candidate countries, and implementing stricter adherence to commitments post-accession. The Commission also aims to deepen integration for candidate states and establish annual dialogues to assess progress. The package will be discussed among member states and is set for further evaluation in upcoming EU meetings.
