The EU plans to allocate substantial funds, including an additional €200 million for 2026-2027, to support Greenland's administration and infrastructure. This move comes as tensions between the U.S. and European allies have eased, although discussions on Arctic security continue without a formal agreement. Greenland remains an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark, with decisions about its future resting with its people.
