UE investește peste 390 de milioane de euro în 135 de proiecte pentru protejarea mediului și combaterea schimbărilor climatice
The European Commission has allocated over €390 million for 135 environmental projects across Europe aimed at nature protection, pollution reduction, climate change mitigation, and clean energy development. This funding, part of the LIFE program, covers more than half of the total estimated investment of €579 million, with the remainder sourced from national, regional, and local authorities, as well as public-private partnerships. The projects span various areas, including biodiversity conservation, circular economy initiatives, and climate resilience. Notable projects include efforts to restore coastal dunes in Belgium and conserve endangered duck species in Bulgaria. The EU aims for climate neutrality by 2050, and these initiatives support that goal.
