UE investește masiv in A.I

The European Union is set to establish up to seven AI Gigafactories, aiming to enhance AI development and reduce reliance on external technology. The initiative is backed by up to 10 billion euros in public funding and is expected to attract over 20 billion euros in private investments. These centers will provide essential infrastructure for advanced AI model training and operation, complementing the existing 19 AI Factories. Eighteen member states are involved, with funding potentially reaching one billion euros for major projects. The European Commission has also secured agreements with AMD, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm for necessary hardware access.
