UE investește 30 de miliarde de euro în 7 centre gigant pentru AI. România intră în cursa inteligenței artificiale cu două proiecte strategice

The European Union is launching a €30 billion investment program for seven large AI data centers, with Romania participating through the RO AI Factory project. This initiative aims to enhance AI infrastructure and reduce the gap with the US and China. The European Commission will select industrial consortia to build these centers, which will require significant private funding. Romania is also developing the Black Sea AI Gigafactory, focusing on private investment and energy infrastructure. Both projects aim to position Romania as a key player in the AI sector.
