UE investește 200 de milioane de euro în Groenlanda

The European Union will invest an additional 200 million euros in Greenland for energy, raw materials, and connectivity projects, announced Ursula von der Leyen. This investment package aims to enhance digital connectivity, sustainable mining, energy, tourism, education, fishing, and housing. Von der Leyen emphasized the strategic partnership between the EU and Greenland, highlighting the island's growing importance in the Arctic. The announcement follows increased international interest in Greenland, particularly from the United States. Von der Leyen reaffirmed that the future of Greenland should be determined by its people and Denmark, not external forces.
