UE introduce noi reguli pentru mașinile scoase din uz. Ce se schimbă și cum vor sprijini „autonomia strategică a Europei”
The European Commission has announced new regulations for vehicle design, production, collection, and treatment at the end of their life cycle to enhance circularity in the automotive sector. These regulations, effective from August 13, aim to improve resource security, reduce waste, and support strategic autonomy in Europe. They will require manufacturers to provide clear instructions for dismantling vehicles and introduce mandatory targets for recycled plastic content. The measures will promote reuse and recycling, ensuring better waste management and creating new business opportunities. The regulations also stipulate that only roadworthy cars can be exported outside the EU.
