UE deblochează încă 3,3 miliarde de euro din împrumutul acordat Ucrainei pentru apărare

The European Commission will transfer €3.3 billion to Ukraine for defense equipment, part of a €90 billion loan. This payment is aimed at enhancing Ukraine's defense capabilities against Russian aggression. It marks the fourth installment for defense under this loan, totaling nearly €15 billion for Ukraine this year. The loan includes €30 billion for budgetary support and €60 billion for defense from 2026 to 2027. Ursula von der Leyen announced plans for a joint EU-Ukraine defense initiative, focusing on air and missile defense systems. Since the start of the Russian invasion in 2022, the EU has provided Ukraine with €224.5 billion in aid.
