UE aprobă participarea Marii Britanii la împrumutul de 90 de miliarde de euro destinat Ucraine

The EU has approved the UK's participation in a €90 billion loan for Ukraine, aimed at enhancing its defense capabilities amid the ongoing conflict with Russia. This decision allows Ukraine to procure defense equipment from the UK, alongside EU member states. The funds will be allocated for military investments and direct economic support. The UK's involvement follows a contribution agreement signed on July 13, meeting all necessary conditions set for third-party states. The official decision will be adopted shortly by the EU Council.
