UE aprobă cel mai amplu pachet de sancțiuni împotriva Rusiei, de la începutul invaziei asupra Ucrainei

The European Commission has approved a significant sanctions package against Russia, targeting its missile production capabilities. This decision was made during a meeting of foreign ministers in Luxembourg, adding 1,600 new entities to the sanctions list, primarily affecting Russia's military-industrial complex. Kaja Kallas, the EU's foreign policy chief, emphasized that this is the largest expansion of sanctions since the war began, with over half related to ballistic missile production. The sanctions will remain in effect for three years and aim to hinder Russia's ability to produce weapons used in the conflict with Ukraine.
