UE alocă 50,77 milioane de euro pentru gazele României

The European Union is investing €50.77 million to modernize two underground gas storage facilities in Romania, enhancing storage capacity and flexibility. The projects at Bilciurești and Depomureș aim to improve gas supply security in Central and Southeast Europe. At Bilciurești, the largest facility, daily delivery capacity will increase from 14 to 20 million cubic meters, while storage capacity will rise by 108 million cubic meters. The Depomureș project will boost working capacity by 100 million cubic meters and daily injection and extraction by 75%. These investments are part of a broader EU initiative to support energy infrastructure with lower emissions.
