Eight European teams won the EUDIS Defence Hackathon 2026, showcasing innovative defense technologies. The event took place from October 15-17 across eight countries, attracting 558 participants who presented 148 technological solutions. Winning projects included autonomous drones, air threat interception systems, and AI-based surveillance platforms. The competition focused on developing technologies for autonomous operation in challenging environments without satellite navigation. The winning teams will enter a two-month mentorship program to refine their solutions for defense applications, supported by industry experts and potential investors. EUDIS aims to foster collaboration between startups and the defense sector.
