UE a alocat 50,77 milioane de euro pentru gazele României. Ce se schimbă la Bilciurești și Depomureș

The European Union supports the modernization of Romania's gas infrastructure through two strategic projects in Bilciurești and Depomureș, funded with €50.77 million from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Energy. The Bilciurești project aims to upgrade the largest underground gas storage facility, increasing daily delivery capacity by 43% and storage capacity by 9%. The Depomureș project will enhance its working capacity by 33% and daily injection and extraction rates by 75%. These investments aim to improve gas supply security and resilience in Central and Southeast Europe, alongside a similar project in Bulgaria. CEF Energy funding will also focus on low-emission energy infrastructures in the future.
