UE a ajuns la un acord pentru al 21-lea pachet de sancțiuni împotriva Rusiei, după ce Grecia și-a retras dreptul de veto
EU ambassadors have agreed on the 21st sanctions package against Russia, following negotiations that highlighted the challenges of reaching consensus among member states. The package includes financial sanctions and a price cap on Russian oil, limiting sales to $44 per barrel for the next year. Additionally, around 250 entities will be added to the sanctions list, marking the largest designation wave since the invasion of Ukraine. Some proposals were dropped, including restrictions on Russian fish and sanctions against Russian soldiers. The EU ministers are expected to formally approve the package soon.
