UE a acordat Spaniei 115.000.000 de euro pentru a gestiona criza migranților din Ceuta

The EU has provided Spain with €115 million to manage the migrant crisis in Ceuta, following a significant influx from Morocco. This funding will enhance border surveillance, purchase equipment, and deploy additional personnel. It also aims to assist in the expulsion of illegal migrants and improve facilities for unaccompanied minors. Over 70,000 migrants crossed into Ceuta, leading to numerous casualties. While many have returned, thousands remain in precarious conditions. The President of Ceuta has accused Morocco of facilitating this influx, although the Spanish government denies any evidence of orchestration by Morocco. An investigation into the crisis has been launched by Spanish authorities.
