UDMR will support the government led by Luca Niculescu, with a vote scheduled for October 20. The decision was made with a significant majority and includes a six-month political agreement focusing on budgetary measures and minority rights. Kelemen Hunor emphasized the urgency of establishing a stable government due to ongoing political instability and its negative impact on public services and the economy. The agreement will address budget rectification and maintaining existing rights for national minorities, particularly the Hungarian community. Hunor did not speculate on the government's longevity beyond the six-month period.
