He criticizes USR for hypocrisy, recalling their past collaboration with AUR during a no-confidence vote against the Cîțu government. Botond argues that USR's recent claims ignore their own political decisions. Cătălin Drulă from USR accused UDMR of aiding extremist parties by changing the balance of power in the Bureau. UDMR rejects this interpretation, asserting that USR cannot condemn their parliamentary ties with AUR given their previous cooperation. The conflict arose from the redistribution of positions in the Bureau, leading to a boycott of parliamentary activities by PNL and USR, who claim the process was abusive and violated parliamentary rules.
