Ucraina vizează un prototip al sistemului european antibalistic „Freyja” până la jumătatea anului 2027
Ukraine aims to have the first functional prototype of the European missile defense system 'Freyja' ready by mid-next year. The project involves multiple countries and companies, seeking a more affordable alternative to the American Patriot system. David Aloian, a Ukrainian security official, emphasized the ambitious goal of demonstrating practical results within this timeframe. The initiative, launched two weeks ago, includes several European nations and aims to address the lack of Patriot systems for Ukraine amid ongoing Russian attacks. Ukraine plans to contribute a launcher and interceptor missile, while seeking advanced technologies from European allies. A special fund may be established to ensure stable financing for the project.
