Ucraina și-a exportat doar 30% din necesarul de cereale în primele 12 zile din august, din cauza blocării porturilor
Ukrainian Agriculture Minister Taras Vysotsky reported that Ukraine exported about 590,000 tons of grain from August 1-12, only 30% of its export needs due to port blockages. Alternative logistics routes could increase exports to 50%, but current limitations pose risks of grain storage deficits. Ukraine is seeking international support to address these challenges, including $10 million for temporary storage solutions and discussions with the World Bank for an additional $25 million. Furthermore, Ukraine has requested a €220 million EU grant to help cover interest rates and banking risks for agricultural loans.
