Ukraine is set to receive a significant shipment of American-made weapons from Turkey, including 70 ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles and 12 M270 MLRS launchers, pending U.S. approval. The U.S. State Department has proposed the permanent transfer, which requires Congressional notification due to the equipment's origin. The shipment aims to enhance Ukraine's offensive and defensive capabilities amid ongoing military challenges. President Zelensky has also mentioned an agreement with the U.S. for monthly deliveries of Patriot missiles, although he expressed concerns about their sufficiency. Ukraine is negotiating with European countries for additional interceptor missiles as domestic production plans have been blocked by Washington.
