Ucraina notifică oficial Organizaţia Aviaţiei Civile în legătură cu spaţiul aerian rusesc. „Vrem să evităm incidentele nedorite”
Ukraine has officially informed the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) that Russian airspace is unsafe for civil aviation due to increased military activity. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba emphasized the need to prevent unwanted incidents. He stated that Ukraine is exercising its inherent right to self-defense under the UN Charter. In response, Russian Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin asserted that Moscow will not allow Ukraine to disrupt civil aviation operations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned airlines and insurers about the dangers posed by Ukrainian drones in Russian airspace, effectively declaring it closed. He reassured that Ukraine does not threaten civil aviation but acknowledged the presence of drones in Russian skies. Nikitin claimed that Russia is enhancing flight safety measures and coordinating with defense authorities to prevent significant disruptions.
