Ukraine is seeking to increase agricultural exports through alternative routes due to the blockade of Black Sea ports, requesting support from Romania and Poland to enhance rail transit capacity. Minister Taras Visoțki highlighted the need for a 50% increase in daily train numbers to facilitate this. Negotiations with Poland aim to raise monthly transit to 600,000 tons, with recent figures showing progress from 400,000 to 530,000 tons. Concerns have also been raised by the agricultural association regarding restrictions on private grain wagon access by Ukrzalizniția.
