Ucraina, cel mai mare debitor al FMI din Europa cu aproape 14,5 miliarde de dolari. Datoria uriașă o plasează pe locul doi în lume. Cine conduce clasamentul mondial al datornicilor
Ukraine has become the largest debtor to the IMF in Europe, with a debt of approximately $14.5 billion. This situation arises amid ongoing pressures from the war with Russia, impacting the country's economy. According to Visual Capitalist, Ukraine's obligations represent about 6.2% of its GDP, placing it second globally after Argentina, which owes around $56.9 billion. Despite its significant debt, Ukraine continues to receive IMF support, including a recent tranche of $690 million under the Extended Fund Facility program. However, projections indicate that Ukraine's public debt may exceed 110% of GDP by 2026 due to ongoing budgetary pressures.
