Ukrainian forces have begun using British-made K3 Scout naval drones to attack Russian ports in the Black Sea, including a recent strike on a tanker in Sochi. These drones, manufactured by Kraken Technology, have a range of 1,200 km and can carry a payload of 600 kg, including various types of weaponry. The K3 Scout's production rate is currently 200 units per year, but companies claim they could increase output to 1,000 if demand arises. The cost per unit is approximately $821,000, significantly higher than Ukrainian surface drones. This marks a notable development in Ukraine's naval capabilities against Russian targets.
