Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the return of ten previously missing soldiers, highlighting prisoner exchanges as a key area of cooperation with Russia. This announcement coincided with Ukraine's independence anniversary. Zelensky emphasized the importance of bringing these soldiers back, who were considered missing while fighting in the east. He pledged to continue efforts for the release of remaining prisoners held by Russia. According to Ukrainian sources, over 15,000 civilians and around 7,000 military personnel are currently detained in Russian prisons. Recent months have seen several prisoner exchanges involving hundreds from both sides.
