Ucraina a adoptat legea privind limbile minorităţilor, solicitată de Budapesta drept condiţie pentru ca negocierile de aderare a Kievului la UE să poată avansa
Ukraine has passed a law enhancing the linguistic rights of national minorities in education, a reform requested by Hungary for EU accession talks. The law aims to expand the use of minority languages in educational institutions and communication. It was approved by 266 deputies and awaits President Zelensky's signature. Hungary's Foreign Minister stated this measure is essential for continuing Ukraine's EU negotiations, addressing concerns over the rights of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia. The law's adoption may facilitate the EU's opening of new negotiation clusters with Ukraine and Moldova.
