Uber is planning a significant restructuring that will eliminate around 3,300 jobs globally, nearly 10% of its workforce. This move aims to simplify management and improve decision-making efficiency. The CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, indicated that the layoffs are a response to the company's rapid growth and increased complexity. The restructuring will also involve merging internal departments and limiting remote work to less than 1% of employees. Additionally, Uber is expanding its autonomous transport services in Europe, operating in over 70 countries and 10,000 cities, including 39 in Romania.
