Uber concediază 10% dintre angajații din toată lumea. Ce locuri de muncă sunt în pericol

Uber plans to cut around 3,300 jobs globally, nearly 10% of its workforce, as part of a restructuring effort aimed at streamlining management and reallocating funds towards growth areas like robotaxis. The company intends to reinvest the savings into development and innovation, focusing on drivers, couriers, and expanding its core businesses. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi emphasized that a leaner organization will lead to clearer responsibilities and faster decision-making. The layoffs primarily affect corporate roles, particularly in management, while Uber also aims to consolidate its delivery operations. Additionally, the company is reducing its office footprint and increasing in-office work requirements, with plans to close operations in Nigeria and Uganda.
