Turul României 2026 debutează cu victoria unui polonez

Polish cyclist Radoslaw Fratczak won the first stage of the 2026 Tour of Romania, held in Moldova, and took the yellow jersey. The stage featured a challenging route of 160 kilometers, with a high pace and early attacks. A breakaway group formed, but Fratczak secured victory in a close sprint finish. This stage marked a historic first for the Tour, starting outside Romania. Fratczak expressed gratitude to his team for their support. The second stage will return to Romania, starting in Iași.
