Turiștii străini, speriați de prețurile din România
Romania sees an increase in foreign tourists, but their spending is significantly lower than that of Romanians traveling abroad. Visitors often find local prices high, leading to lower expenditures. In the first quarter, foreign tourists spent only 40% of what Romanians spent on vacations outside the country. While Romanians spent over 300 million euros on trips abroad, foreign visitors left less than half of that amount in Romania. Tourists from countries like Singapore and Belgium expressed surprise at the high prices, expecting them to be lower. Foreign groups typically visit for short stays, while Romanians prefer longer vacations abroad.
