Hundreds of tourists faced disappointment as their planned vacations to Bulgaria were abruptly canceled, leaving them without flights or accommodations. A Hungarian family lost €3,540 for a two-week stay at Sunny Beach, notified just a day before departure. Many travelers struggled to contact their travel agency, which ceased communication, and discovered their hotel reservations were also canceled. Those already in Bulgaria faced challenges returning home, being transported by bus through Serbia. A Facebook group formed for affected tourists is sharing information and seeking legal action, while the travel company has not publicly addressed the cancellations.
