A 50-year-old woman was rescued from the Piatra Craiului Mountains after suffering a leg injury. The operation involved rescuers from Zărnești, Argeș, and a helicopter crew. Despite challenging weather conditions, a rescuer reached her on foot and prepared for evacuation. Once the weather improved, she was airlifted and later received medical care from a SMURD team. A ground rescue option was also prepared in case aerial evacuation was not feasible. The Zărnești rescue team expressed gratitude for the collaboration with other emergency services.
