Turismul în Bulgaria se reconfigurează / Orașele Sofia și Plovdiv atrag tot mai mulți vizitatori, iar litoralul Mării Negre se aglomerează doar în weekend
The number of tourists visiting Bulgaria this summer is increasing, with a notable shift towards Sofia and Plovdiv rather than traditional seaside resorts. Rumen Draganov noted a 2% rise in arrivals, with winter tourism also seeing growth due to low-cost flights and diverse tourism types. Hotel occupancy rates at seaside resorts are around 50-60% on weekdays, down 15-20% from last year, but weekend demand remains strong, with full bookings on Fridays to Sundays.
