Brașov is becoming a popular wedding destination, with 20 marriages officiated in one weekend. The mayor announced that civil marriage fees will remain unchanged in 2027. Couples from various cities are choosing Brașov for their ceremonies, contributing to local tourism. Fees for Saturday weddings will be 250 lei, while Sunday weddings will cost 500 lei. Non-residents will pay 150 lei, and outdoor ceremonies will incur a fee of 1,500 lei. Citizens can submit feedback on the proposed fees until October 22.
